A blackberry curve 8330 may look small and fit in your pocket like a cell phone, but do not be deceived by its size. It packs a lot of stuff in that small package. The blackberry curve 8330 has what just a few blackberry curves have; video recording. This video recording capability steps in at 240 by 176 pixels and 14 frames per second. The colorful and bright screen will have you hooked as you watch your videos on the blackberry curve 8330.
Other great things about the blackberry curve 8330 are the CDMA reception. Most of the RIM blackberries do not have CDMA. The blackberry curve 8330 is different. The dual band 800 - 1900 megahertz band is going to be used mostly in the North America. The blackberry curve 8330 does not have Wi-Fi but can act as a wireless modem. One drawback of the blackberry curve 8330 is its slower processor. Booting up this curve is a bit slow. The good news is that the folks at RIM took this into consideration and increased the memory. You can send your pictures over the included MMS feature. You can also store plenty of pictures because the blackberry curve 8330 has a microSD slot. The slot is located inside the phone under the battery. The battery is a small improvement in size and power over previous models. The talk time is just over four hours.
The blackberry curve 8330 comes with a GPS feature. One neat feature of this curve is the ability to send your GPS coordinates using SMS text messages or email. The GPS is superb and should be one of those features that make you take a second or third look at purchasing the blackberry curve 8330.
Perhaps the only negative thing about the blackberry curve 8330 is the browser. It is borderline in performance but the screen does not seem built for such activities anyway. All in all you really do get a top notch package and will probably not be disappointed in the blackberry curve 8330.
